The Skiarena Klausberg (400 m away from our house - only 5 minutes walk) provides excellently preserved pistes for all requirements and guarantees fun for both skiers and snowboarders.

The state-certified ski instructors, who also the host Franz and daughter Sabine belong to, introduce beginners as well as skilled people to the secrets of the ski sport.

You reach the second ski area within distance, Speikboden (9 km away), by car or by the free ski bus.

You may enjoy the unspoiled natural
landscape also in a different way:
The excellently preserved
cross-country courses (in Kasern,
Weißenbach and Rein in Taufers)
provide besides a snow-covered fairyland,
a lot of fun at the sporting activity.

There exist several toboggan runs around the valley Ahrntal/Valle Aurina, like in Weißenbach (to the Pircher and Innerhofer hut) and in Prettau (to the Steger hut). Of course, you should try out the unique night-toboggan run on the Klausberg. Every Tuesday, there takes place the traditionally night toboggan over the 5 km long run.
