The SkiWorld Ahrntal, consisting of the ski resorts Klausberg and Ahrntal boasting 73 km of slopes and 23 cable cars and lifts, is situated in one of the most beautiful valleys of South Tyrol.

Ski resort Klausberg - awarded as the most family-friendly ski resort in Italy

„A stone’s throw away from the lifts“:
The valley station of the snow-reliable ski resort Klausberg is located at just 400 m distance (5 mins walk) from our house. There, everybody’s taste is met:
Marvellous, challenging and easy slopes, the “Klausiland,” the “Dino-Fun line” for kids and the ski and snowboard fun park “Fantaklaus” for youngsters. Using the K2 Express, you can reach an altitude of 2,500 m a.s.l.!

Ski resort Speikboden

The small but nice ski resort, situated between Sand in Taufers and Luttach, invites you to spend an exciting ski day there. The ski resort located on the sunny side offers slopes for beginners and for carving enthusiasts. It’s only a 9 km distance from our residence and you can use the free ski bus service to get there.

Ski resort Kronplatz

The Kronplatz is the ski mountain no. 1 in South Tyrol and ist located about 30 km from our house. It boasts 120 km of slopes and is an ideal spot for experienced skiers.

Cross-country skiing in Kasern and Rein in Taufers

The villages of Kasern (at the end of the valley) and Rein in Taufers offer perfectly-prepared cross-country skiing slopes and impress with a wonderful, quiet winter landscape. The altitude of both locations guarantees ideal snow conditions from December throughout April.
Both areas can be reached by car in 15 and 30 mins respectively or with the free ski bus service.

Sledging / tobogganing

The Klausberg is not only a perfect place for skiing, but you can enjoy some sledging fun there too. Every Tuesday evening the traditional night sledging takes place. The valley descent is illuminated until 10 p.m. For those who are into après-ski entertainment, some huts are also open on Tuesday evenings. The night tobogganing is a unique experience that you must not miss!

Ski touring and snowshoe walking

The Tauferer Ahrntal valley is the perfect spot for those who are looking for the peace and quiet of the mountains. With 83 3,000m peaks and uncountable options for excursions, our valley is probably the most beautiful one for ski excursionists and snow-shoe walkers.
